Oral Health

Since January 2025, the laboratory UMR_S 1333 “Oral health” (Université Paris Cité, Université Sorbonne Paris Nord, INSERM) was created from the merger of 4 team/laboratories, BRIO URP 2496, URB2i, UMR_S 1338 team oral pathophysiology, and URP 7543 LAB-NOF. Our mission remains focused on the orofacial sphere, and covers the tooth itself (mineralization anomalies, stimulation of pulp repair) and its supporting tissues (periodontium), as well as bone defects of the skull and face. Our objectives are to understand the pathophysiological mechanisms involved in rare and common oral diseases and to develop new technologies and devices for the reconstruction of these structures, in order to offer concrete therapeutic solutions for the patients.
