About the speaker

Dr. Lamont R. Jones is Associate Chief Medical Officer at Henry Ford Medical Group (Henry Ford Health (Detroit, Michigan, USA)) and Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology at Michigan State University & Wayne State University. He is an internationally recognized facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon, physician executive, and surgeon-scientist. His translational research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of keloid disease, including biomarker discovery, therapeutic targets, drug delivery systems, and advanced preclinical models. He has received more than $1.5 million in NIH and foundation funding and has delivered invited lectures throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, and North America.
